This group was with the HW 80's Iron sights. But since then I have shimmed the back ring with 2 layers of photo film and reset the scope. I have mounted a Nikko Sterlinf AO Gold 4-12 x 42 mm scope on it. Will post pictures of this Air Rifle and the beautiful Sharjah Shooting club facilitations soon.

Here are some pics of the monster Air Rifle Weihrauch HW 80 and the huge Nikko Sterling 4-12 x 42 scope on single piece adjustable Nikko Sterling Mount. With these lighter H & N Hollow Point pellets it clocked 870 fps on the Chrono. The Spring and Piston are tweaked with a Venom aftermarket kit. It is so powerful that it is difficult to stop the scope slide. But working on methods to arrest the scope.

Thank you, Badshah. ( What's the real name ? ). I love shooting this HW 80 rifle. We will hold a Field Target contest here in Dubai shortly, yes inspite of this heat we have enough boys and girls willing to come out and participate.

Will post pics and results of this competition later.

Beautiful weapon indeed. I am looking to buy a Diana or an HW in good condition in NCR region. My budget is 20K max.

Also, if a fellow member can help me get either of these from abroad, i will be really grateful!

Thanks,

Yash...

Is there any shop in Dubai which sells these guns? If yes, do they have a website?

The Dubai shop is too old fasioned to have a website. However a new HW 80 is sold for Dhs. 1200 ans a Diana 35 for Dhs. 800.

ROE One Dirham = Indian Rs. 11,50.

It can be purchased in Dubai and carried back in checked baggage, ( .177 only ), if and only if the traveller has a membership card from a State, District or National Rifle Association.

Otherwise for new weapons, prevailing price in India is

Diana 35 - Rs. 25,000 to 30,000

HW 80 - Rs. 35,000 to 40,000

HW 80 is available in both .177 and .22 here, so is Diana 35.
