FX Impact

PostAuthor: MAmjad » Fri May 26, 2017 3:01 pm

Hi Guys

Anyone here ever tried the new FX Impact in any caliber? Just want to know your hands on experience. The Airgun really cost a fortune. But, does it really worth the price? There are really mixed reviews online. Please share your experience here.

Thanks,

I've got the .177 caliber impact and man do I love it! It does take some getting used to the length of pull and the AR15 style grip but once that's out of the way.. man this is the best air rifle ever...
I've tuned mine to shoot the jsb heavies at about 800 fps with the dial on max as we have a 15 ft/lbs limit here.. messing around with all the settings and trying different pellets with this beauty is what sets it apart from all other air rifles ..
this is one rifle you will never get bored of.. one thing is for sure .. you will run through a tonne of lead with this one...

Have you been able to find which pellet shoots best in the Impact at longer ranges? Do share.

Given all the issues with the FX Impact, you may be better off with the AGN Tech Vulcan.

Not sure if I am allowed to post links here but a simple google search for "Fx impact issues" will show up a lot of information including a huge discussion thread on airgunbbs.

Nothing is wrong with FX Impact. It has so many adjustable features that those who don't know how to adjust the gun or don't know what they are doing would surely find themselves in trouble.
For those who know what they are doing FX Impact is an excellent Gun.

FX's latest gun FX Crown has more adjustments but it is easier to adjust than Impact.

I second, But crown is a full length gun where as impact is compact.

Though changing the barrel itself is pretty painless, tuning the gun to run at peak performance with its new barrel and caliber can be tricky for newer airgunners.

The above lines are from airgundepot were they had a detailed review on this gun, with all those technology and the versatile of this gun, i just wish Fredrik Axelsson was my neighbor
