Very very fine cartridges indeed. I like them very much. Got the last box of no. 7 1/2 left. Have fired over 300 rounds of no. 9 and 7 1/2 over the last 2 years.

What we have used is Lavalle Express - Supreme and Excel, in Brown and Blue shells respectively.

Excellent velocity, good shot and spotless in the barell. Absolutely no residue on firing. We had a consignment of 24 gram load, no 7 1/2 and 9s. Great results. Highly recommended product.

Plenty of them were found in India in the 2001-2002 season when they were imported through NRAI and also went to various shooting clubs ( District level ) in UP.

The VECTAN Powder used in Lavelle Express ranks among the best in the world.

The only British cartridge ever to win an Olympic Gold Medal!
The High Velocity Express Excel Cartridges were designed specifically for the exacting Olympic Trap, Skeet and Double Trap disciplines. Excel Olympian Cartridges are a continuing development from our original Excel and Atlanta Excel.
Over the past four years Excel have gained in popularity worldwide culminating in the teams of more than 10 countries using Atlanta Excel cartridges at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics. Richard Faulds won his Gold Medal in Sydney with these cartridges.

All Excel Olympian Cartridges have lead shot with 5.7% Antimony and other hardening alloys. This shot is made for us in Italy to exacting requirements by a specialist lead shot manufacturer. The powders used for Excel Cartridges are Vectan powders made in Brittany, France by the SNPE Group to the very highest standards of consistency and cleanliness. The powders are single base flake powders which will burn at low pressures ensuring the very uniform patterns demanded by knowledgeable shooters. The Plastic Wad is designed to protect the shot and to open at the muzzle to prevent the wad from scattering the shot as the shot leaves the muzzle. The combination of the above components together with computer controlled loading as well as the latest testing facility ensures the superb patterns and killing power expected from one of our highest grade International competition cartridges.
