So, it is not a bad gun after all.... my choice of choosing one for myself gets a pat... ! :P

Any modifications done to the gun, or is it the same as it came from the company ? Which year was it purchased... i mean model... ?

by looking at the score only will let us know if this is worth to buy.
By the way, do we have choice other than IOF in big bore?

Its not bad at all :D, but when compared to the target models which people were using there..................less said is better.
No modification have been done so far, and its a 2008 model

The ammo used was S&B competition.
No ammo was issued at the venue, every participant has to get his own.

HI! Congratulations to your bro Shah! Good Job & Well done.
Speaking from Experience:
That said I personally feel that if you had put on peep sights on the rifle and participated in the peep sight event -your bro would have had a shot at qualifying for the NSCC and if he shot the qualifying score he would have become a renowned shot and would have been eligible for the benifits. However this is just my opinion but that would have been the route I would have taken , no use shooting a open sight match which just terminates at the all-India stage without any benifits and does not go on to NSCC level. Anyways best wishes and well done. If you are hanging on at the venue for the Nationals will be there in Indore tommorow (26/12 evening ) and at the venue on 27/12

 dont tell me that ppl were shooting target models with open sights?? Its a huge task to fix the open sights on target rifles and they have to be specially manufactured as no-one anywhere in the worls shoots target rifles with open sights- now if the army dudes were misusing the host privliges - as I have often seen they do during the afternoon sessions in the AIGVM competition to give practice to their shooters during the competition or after close of the days details the army shooters keep firing peep sight rifles blatently violating the rules ;)

Thanks Shutzen, I completely agree with you about shooting peep sights, but only if things were so easy, And as it was bhais first year participating wanted to do it for the experience, and he sure got to learn a lot.And will surly try for the peep sight event next year.
The target rifles were not been shot in the open sight but were present at the venue and bhai had a chance to admire them.
