Yesterday was an anti-climax. The whole range was occupied with a friendly match on between kids training there. We waited for an hour, saw the kids having fun in the match :( and then left for Barista. :)

I guess, the best time to go is 3.00 pm. Let's stick by that...

The latest on Siri Fort Shooting Range is that the inevitable has happened and the range has been handed over to the CISF for security. They don't let mortals like us (who are not members of DDA Siri Fort Sports Complex) enter. I could manage yesterday after lots of arguments and showing them my Shooter's ID card, but they created a ruckus for my son.

The good news is that the shooting range has been renovated with electronic target pulleys and target illumination lights etc. and looks much better !

The inter-school shooting competition will be held from 29 - 31 July and thereafter from 1 Aug, the range is closed till after the CWG get over....

I took an informal picture yesterday...

Its sad to know that entry for others has been barred. I do hope this is a temporary measure and entry will be permitted once the CWG are over.

This is indeed sad, hope that access to this and other ranges is restored once the CWG are over.
